BIO

My name is John Welch.  I am the Youth Pastor here at the Aztec Church of the Nazarene.  I have been in ministry for approximately 5 years.  I have been married to my wife Marie for almost 15 years.  We have two beautiful daughters named Cadence and Lilliana. I have lived in New Mexico for most of my life.  I am a United States Army veteran.  I was stationed in Colorado Springs for about 6 years and remained in Colorado after my discharge for a few more years.  Other than my time in the military, I have lived somewhere in New Mexico.  The Land of Enchantment is my home. 

 

I value relationship with all of God’s people.  I enjoy listening to music, riding motorcycles, working on cars, and spending time with my family.  I also enjoy watching sports and playing SOME of those sports.  I have had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for many years.  He has done many great things in my life.  Jesus has also blessed my family and I in ways that I never would have imagined.  I look forward to going through life with others and sharing the love of Jesus Christ. My personal mission in life is best stated through the title of one of my favorite songs by Danny Gokey - “Love God Love People.” I sincerely look forward to meeting you all.
